This is a small cache located along the McConnell Lake Loop trail. You will need to have your own writing instrument.
The McConnell Lake - Lake Shore Loop Trail is a hiking trail that takes you all the way around McConnell Lake. The cache is located about halfway along the trail, which will take approx. 40 minutes to hike. Walking the entire loop will take approximately 1.5 hours and is very peaceful and scenic. McConnell is a popular fishing lake and is well known for its abundance of rainbow trout.
The name of this cache is an homage to the abundance of lichen that covers some of the trees in the area. The cache container is NOT camo'd with lichen. Please do not disturb the lichen during the course of your hunt.
The cache is a camo'd 100ml Lock & Lock. At placement it contained:
small carabiner
2 pins
heart shaped eraser
'relaxing dude' figurine
3 Hello Kitty stickers
10 Peso coin (Mexican)
log book
Please note that the container is too small for a pencil you'll have to bring your own.
