Geocache Description:

Hardy's To Find - Head towards the quarry from the main car park, but rather than following the steep slope down to the quarry floor stay on the south west coast path.
This Battery offers great views over Torbay, can you see how many cannons would have been here over 200 years ago in Napoleonic days?

This is one of many official English Riviera Geopark caches hidden at key sites around the English Riviera – a UNESCO Global Geopark. Each cache is located somewhere of significant interest and aims to teach something about this wonderful Geopark.
Geoparks aims to protect geo-diversity and to promote geological heritage to the general public as well as to support sustainable economic development of the area, primarily through the development of geological tourism.
This particular cache was hidden in May 2011 as part of the annual English Riviera Geopark Festival.
