The campsite at Beecraigs is peacefully situated within
Beecraigs County Park, which is located in the scenic Bathgate
Hills, 2 miles south of historic Linlithgow town. Please note the
peaceful aspect cannot be guaranteed once we arrive
We have exclusively taken over the camping field within
Beecraigs campsite for the weekend 22nd – 24th July. The
field will hold approximately 20 tents, depending on size. It is
only suitable for tents and there is no power on it.
Caravans and motorhomes are more than welcome, however they will
need to be sited on one of the sites standard pitches, all of which
are very close to the camping field.
The Actual Event
We will be at the campsite from lunchtime on Friday 22nd July
until Sunday lunchtime.
The logable part of the weekend is the Saturday night, when we
will be having a BBQ at 7pm, with the Campervan Catering Co.
looking after us, as usual. To make things easier, we will supply
all the food for the barbeque and ask everyone to pay a small
amount per head to cover the cost. The cost will likely be around
£5 per person.
A night cache will also be placed for fun and further adventures
around the park after dark on the Saturday night. There is a great
new play park at Beecraigs, myself and Mairi (geoarab)have already
tried out the swings, am sure we will end up there on the Saturday
night, haven't been on the slides yet.
This event is open to campers, caravaners, motorhomers and day
visitors. Please note day visitors will need to leave their cars at
the country parks car park, beside the restaurant, its only a
couple of minutes walk along to the camping field
Booking Arrangements
Camping
As the camping field is booked out exclusively for this event,
to book a pitch, please send me an email and I'll add you to the
list and confirm your place. As space is limited, all bookings will
be dealt with on a strictly first come first served basis.
To cover the cost of the camping field we will need to collect a
small charge of £15 per camping unit per night. Obivously if the
event proves popular and we end up with additional funds over the
cost of the camping field, we will reduce this rate accordingly. In
your email can you please include the size of your tent, how many
people it holds will be fine and your car registration number to
allow you access to park close to the camping field.

Catering
As usual the campervan catering company will be feeding us all
weekend, with something to eat on Friday night and breakfasts on
Saturday and Sunday and the Saturday night BBQ
As previously mentioned we will provide a BBQ on Saturday,
however, if you are staying all weekend breakfast and Friday night
dinner, along with the bbq can be provided and cooked for you. To
cover the costs of all food for this, we will need to collect £10
per person to cover the cost. Please let me know if you are
interested in this so we make sure we have enough bacon and
sausages. Sorry we can't provide a delivery service and bring it to
you in bed ?
