The Buwalda Glacial Habitat Restoration Area is a 738 acre parcel of WDNR land, managed for the production of waterfowl, wild pheasant, and other non-game songbirds.
In an era of ever increasing rural development and disappearing farmland and wetland, these areas are critical for the feeding, nesting, and overall survival of birds and other wildlife.
This is the Finale in the many "Room 2 Roam" cache placements. These are not park 'n' grabs and can be wet during the different seasons of the year. We recommend looking at the satelite view before attempting this, or print out the birds-eye view. It will help you stay dry!
The coordinates for "Room 2 Roam - Encore" (GC2WA1B) are on the lid of the container, and in the log book. Since you've gone this far, you wouldn't want to miss the encore!
Enjoy your trek and watch for wildlife. A straight line between WPs may be possible during a winter attempt, but otherwise...
