Geocache Description:

This is a nano cache which can be done as a drive-by although there is another cache quite nearby.

Allerton Bywater was a typical coal mining village until the colliery closed in l992. Since then there has been extensive residential development.
The Lines Leisure Trail follows the track of the disused railway between Garforth and Castleford railway stations. In part it also follows the Leeds Country Way which offers over 60 miles of footpaths and bridleways around the Leeds boundary.

There is a small car parking area at N53 44.833 W001 21.906.
