This cache is a well disguised container, about 15cm x 5cm x 5cm but with only room inside for a logbook so please bring a pen.
The cache was originally rated as difficulty 4 because although fairly visible, it is not hidden where you would normally expect, blends in really well with it's surroundings and is therefore difficult to spot, however geocachers in this area have proven to be good at finding such caches so I reduced the difficulty to 2, I've now found a slightly different hiding spot so it,s now more difficult to spot (unless you know what you are looking for) The hint has also been changed to suit new spot. Please first try without reading the hint. The cache can be found just off of a wide path near the River Trym. If you have joined the path from the nearest road, the terrain is easy and fairly suitable for pushchairs until the final 5 metres The river Trym flows through Sea Mills river park, passing under the Portway and the Severn Beach railway line before joining the river Avon. Ducks and moorhen can be found along many stretches of the river. We've set up a series of caches along the River Trym, to complete the initial 8 caches is a walk of about 40 minutes (each way) to complete the full circuit of all 15 caches is a walk of about 1.5 hours, but does return you to the starting point. Allowing an average of 2 to 3 mins to locate each cache, you should be able to complete the circuit in around 2 to 2.5 hours, so if you enjoy this one why not visit the rest.
