Beating the Bounds Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Maple Leaf: All of the four feeder caches have now been archived, so we came to retrieve this cache today. However, the undergrowth defeated us too! So even though I am archiving this cache - the container hasn't yet been retrieved.
As this is mid winter, there isn't much chance of it improving until the National Trust do a major amount of scrub clearance.

I will attempt to remove the container in the future. (or if anyone else goes to find it, please remove it),

Geocache Description:

To find this cache, you will need to find the four 'Beating the Bounds' caches and make a note of the letter/s on the rear of the Axbridge boundary stones.

This cache is not at the headline coords, but is close by so you may want to choose the order you find the traditional caches to save a walk up the hill again!.

The four traditional caches you need to find are:
Prowse's Lane (Beating the Bounds) GC2VW03
Stubbington Drove (Beating the Bounds) GC2VW0Z
Callow Drove (Beating the Bounds) GC2VQPY
Shute Shelve (Beating the Bounds) GC2VW1Z

The letter/s you find on the rear will need to be converted to numbers using the following table:

The bonus cache is at:

W002 49. Shute Shelve    Prowse's Lane

The 'Donstone' is a large natural boulder 2-3m long, 1m high, 1.5-2m wide and is thought to be an ancient boundary stone.

Thank you to the National Trust for giving us permission to place caches on their land.
