A "Flash Mob" is a gathering of geocachers that lasts only 15 minutes. Cachers arrive at a the coordinates at exactly the predetermined time and participate in some sort of madness. Once the madness is over and the log sheet signed, cachers disperse immediately at 15 minutes.
The Umpqua Valley Geocachers Association (UVGA) is putting together their own World Wide Flash Mob Event on the official day of June 4 at noon. Our time is slightly different but that just adds to the madness!
Your duty as a flash mob attendee is to bring your box of crayons/markers/colored pencils. You will have ten minutes to complete a task of madness. Your task will be to draw a picture of a butterfly on the provided paper. We will then hold these pictures in our group photo to show our butterfly madness in a flash mob.
A log sheet will be available for everyone to sign to prove your madness in coming to a 15 minute flash mob.
