Finally the new fire station!
Find Duette Volunteer Fire and Rescue 1 & 2 to read the history of these fine and prideful volunteers. Drive by N 082 34.894 W 27 11.427 look due west. You should see a concrete slab. Once a pole barn stood on that slab and it was the first fire station. On May 19, 2011 the new and modern station will be dedicated. What a great event for this community.
