Geocache Description:

In celebration of the new car park at this burgeoning Country Park, I have laid a few caches to encourage cachers to visit and enjoy. There are well defined footpaths, but once off these the ground
is quite uneven. Should be okay for buggies/strollers, but the ground is probably a bit too uneven for your average wheelchair. If you haven't already done so, you may wish to also look at my Round the Roach and Around the Roach again series that are both close by.

NEW CAR PARK
N51 34.515 E0 40.815
Heading NORTH on Cherry Orchard Way you can turn LEFT at the right turn road sign.
Entrance to the car park has a maximum head room of 2metres.

There are no signs to indicate when, if at all, this car park is locked. But I can tell you that I was there until 8.30pm whilst it was still daylight

Cherry Orchard Jubilee Country Park

Situated in the rolling countryside of the Roach Valley at south of the District, the 200 acre beautiful wildlife park continues to mature, providing unique recreational facilities for residents and visitors to the area. The woodland, lake, open grassland and network of connecting paths and bridleways also provide habitat for a huge range of animals and plants.

Friends of Cherry Orchard Jubilee Country Park.

In March 2010, a Friends of Cherry Orchard Jubilee Country Park group was formed. Friends groups allow the local community to have a say in how their local park is managed. If you would like to know more about joining the Friends of Cherry Orchard Jubilee Country Park, please contact the group Chairman, Graham Hutchinson on 07850 584115 or email graham@chkpkmtrs.demon.co.uk

This series of four caches is set in a circuit of one mile over a mixture of bridlepath and well trodden path over rough ground.
