This cache is part of a series of ten caches posted to honor my wife’s birthday. There are 10 in the series because “DeeDee IS A 10”! For those younger cachers who do not understand the phrase, Google Bo Derek and 10 and you’ll figure it out. DeeDee is a master cacher and usually strives for originality and inventiveness in her caches. As you do these caches you will quickly find that I have neither of those qualities in great supply but would like to honor her with this series in what brings her happiness; getting out and caching.
This cache honors DeeDee’s love for adventure. DeeDee is always looking for excuses to travel and cache. The sign at this intersection is extremely similar to one DeeDee and I did in Oregon that was so high, I had to stand on the top of my truck roof to reach it. For this one, even the most height-challenged cacher should be able to reach it (because it’s not at the sign). We like to go on motorcycle rides and this road has both nice turns and steep hills and dips.
