Trek to X #1 Traditional Cache
bcloon: Thanks to all of the geocachers that have visited my caches in Boulder City. Since we are moving out of state I am shutting down my caches as I will not be able to maintain them. This will open areas for new caches to be placed, happy caching to all.

This is 1 of 3 caches (Trek to X #1, Trek to X #2, and Trek to X #3), leading to the series of 5 caches (X Marks the Spot, XNE, XNW, XSE, and XSW).
I suggest parking by my cache mtjeff TB motel (GC25AXM) …N 36 00.652 W 114 49.432. I find it easiest to walk down the dirt road a short ways and then make a left staying on the lower elevation along the mountains as much as possible. If you plan on doing all 8 caches plus mtjeff TB motel, allow 3 hours (maybe a little more). About half of the caches can be found with very little climbing. The other half require more effort, however nothing extreme. I have tried to be as accurate as possible on my terrain ratings. Carry plenty of water and also be aware of desert critters. I do not recommend doing these caches in extreme heat. Happy caching to all.
