Thanks to Boxhill for initiating the "Curse of the FTF (Wellington)" Series.
The next in the "Curse of the FTF (Wellington Area)" series of caches.
The rules are really simple.... Guidelines for this series are below:
1. FTF'er should place the next cache in the series (in this case, Curse of the FTF #16(Wellington) within 1 month. Please note only the FTF'er should place the next cache and not every time someone finds the cache.
2. You can only be a FTF for this series once, and no joint FTF's accepted on these caches. This spreads the FTF love around, and gives others a chance to play along. (This is at least till everyone has had a go at FTF who wants to).
3. Cache can be any size or type of cache (Puzzle, Multi, etc.), but I do ask that you set it within the Greater Wellington Area (Wellington, Hutt Valley, Wainuiomata, and Kapiti Coast up to Waikanae), and if it is a puzzle then it cannot be too hard, as it should be easy enough for everyone to find.
4. You must include this set of guidelines in your listing for the series. I will be happy to answer any questions concerning the guidelines or about the placing of caches to those who have not placed a cache before. There is no requirement besides the standard signing of the cache log to prevent you from logging this cache when found. Everyone should log their find, and hopefully the FTF person will play along and place another cache, but is it is no way a requirement for logging your find. But if you don't intend to carry on the series please do not FTF and leave it for someone else. Under Geocaching guidelines while there is no requirement for the FTF to place a new cache within a month, it is hoped that future FTF'ers, if they so wish, will enter into the spirit of the series, and continue to place new caches.
REMEMBER. NO JOINT FTF'S ACCEPTED ON THESE CACHES!!

The cache is a 200ml sistema container. Placed near the track. No need to go down into the stream.
Though there is a small pencil in the cache, it would pay to bring a pen.
There are a few stream crossings and during the winter months or after heavy rain, you should expect to get your feet wet and muddy.
Parking is at the Whareroa Farm entrance. Gates are locked at 6pm during the winter months.
Please ensure cache is hidden well when replaced.
Continuing past the cache, the track becomes steeper where you are rewarded with a good view near the top. (on a fine day) If you keep following this track it will eventually bring you back out to the where you started. A distance of about 5 kilometres.
