June 21, 2011 is the first day of summer and the "longest" day of
the year at 15+ hours. This event welcomes the summer and will give
use a opportunity to talk about our caching plans in Central Jersey
this coming summer.
This event will separate the goats from the sheep, the
uber-cachers from the cachers, and perhaps the unemployed from the
employed! ;)
Get here early and watch the sun come up while we have breakfast,
talk geocaching and welcome the summer.
Here's the one ground rule for this event: in order to log this
as a find, you must be at the posted coordinates and sign the
event logbook by sunrise (5:25 am), on June
21st.
From there, you're free to do whatever: Stay and have breakfast,
leave and go to work, plan a whole day of caching, or just hang out
and chat Geocaching.
There are plans to have some new caches placed in the area for
this event. If you'd like to place a cache for this event, let us
know.
If you plan on attending, please include in your posting how
many will be in your group so we can let the IHOP know how many
crazy cachers to expect. Be sure to watch this page for updates,
changes, and/or announcements.
This kind of event was a great success back in 2007. Hope to see
