Girl Guides celebrate 100 Years
In 2010, Girl Guides of Canada celebrated their 100th birthday. In the last 100 years, 7 million girls and women have enjoyed the fun that Guiding as to offer in: Sparks, Brownies, Guides, Pathfinders, Rangers, Jr. Leaders, Link, Trefoil Guild or adult leadership. 2013 marks the 100th anniversary of Girl Guides in Alberta. In the three-year period from 2010-2013, we are establishing the Sisters for a Century series of geocaches in as many cities or towns with Guiding units as we can. We hope you enjoy our caches as much as the girls and Guiders have enjoyed learning about geocaching and setting them up for you.
