- At Coordinates you will find a large Tulip Tree with a large
Vine hanging beside it. It looks like what Tarzan would have used
to go out to get the mail.
- We estimated a swing on this vine would take him 23 paces North
(on the path!) to where his letterbox would be located.
- Since Tarzan didn’t want any nosey hyenas reading his
mail, he hid it under a step where only he and Cheeta could get
it.
- The Cache contains a Logbook, Rubber Stamp, and Pad
Located in Fernwood Botanical Gardens and Nature Preserve
along the beautiful St. Joseph River. Since there are Visitor Fees
(see below), take time to hike the other numerous trails and
gardens, take a break with visits to the Nature Center and Gallery
Exhibits and if your present at lunch time you can bring your own
picnic or select something from the cafe. Please make sure you
pick up a map of the grounds and follow Fernwood's no off trail
hiking rules.
Parking is only allowed at the Mary Plym Visitor Center.
Please enter the grounds through this entrance before starting your

Fernwood staff approval and allows visitors to explore the numerous
