You will find Kohunui 20 minutes South of Martinbrough.
The cache got only a logbook and pencil. Watch for cars as there is not much room on the road for parking.
Kohunui Marae is the first to be built at Kohunui in the mid to late 1800’s. The second marae replaced the first in the late 1950’s. The marae was dedicated in January 1956 and upgraded and decorated with whakairo and tukutuku in the mid 1980’s. The marae was then rededicated in 1991.
