Geocache Description:

I hope you enjoy this historic and natural venture through the delightful village of Kangaroo Valley. The points of interest and locations were taken from the Kangaroo Valley Explorer Walking Tour, which is well worth doing in it's entirety. You can get a brochure in town of download it here: http://www.kvexplorer.com.au/walk.html

This delightful church is worth stopping for, and if you can't see inside, there's a picture of the interior on the front door! Designed by famous architect John Horbury Hunt, and built in 1872 of brick and local sandstone. The original thatched roof was replaced by shingles, and then tiles.

The cache is NOT in the church grounds.
