Geocache Description:

A small cache holding a few basic items. Located in a quiet corner of Surbiton, England. Sandwiched between a cemetery, allotment and student halls, it is a quiet place.

This cache is located on a footpath that connects Hillside Road and Surbiton cemetery. Maps from the early 20th century show that it was originally intended that Hillside Road would connect with Lower Marsh lane. At some stage this idea was abandoned and Hillside Road was made into a cul-de-sac.

There is still a public footpath here, although it is only accessible through the cemetery during opening hours. The Hillside Raod end has full access although there are parking restictions during the week.

The other side of the path are the Clayhill halls of residence, although there is no access to or from this site from the footpath.

The cache is a small plastic container, big enough to hold a notebook and a few small items.

This is the starting place for Robot Guy to make his way to see family in the north.
