Wilderness Wanderings is a series we are starting that will take
you off the main roads to unique places we have found. Most of them
will not have directions, you need to use maps or gps'r to navigate
to the cache site. That will be the challenge to finding these
caches.
We found this small lake back in the 90's when there used to be
more water. Be careful during hunting season- duck, grouse and
deer, as many people use this area. Not much to look at but take a
walk out on the black muck. The whole ground will move, like it is
floating. Do not walk to far out or you may sink. If you stay on
the sand around the lake as you walk to the cache you will not have
any problems.
Cache is a recycled cache. A small lock and lock container with a
pencil, log and dropped a travel bug in there. PLEASE BRING YOUR
OWN PEN IN CASE THIS ONE IS MISSING OR BROKEN. No signature no
