Once upon a time... long ago and far away... some geocachers met
up and had what we fondly refer to now as an adventurous day of
hiking through snow... across frozen snow covered lakes in the
Ministik Bird Sanctuary. The tales you hear of that day and the
following weekend's trip are fairly accurate and since then the
area has become a breeding ground of new cache hides each time
another group heads out. It may be the result of cachers getting
lost... or losing something... having to sit down to regroup...
consequently seeing a "perfect" spot for a geocache.
Well it took another Friend Friday group outing to get another one
set in yet another picturesque nook just off one of the beckoning
meadows in the MBS calling for more exploration. Hope you enjoy the
hike with just a touch of bushwhacking a the end.
