The year was 1967. The big screen was ablaze with “The Dirty Dozen”. It was really 3 movies in one. The first movie was the humor of training. This was attached to “The Test” with tape. Finally, “The Mission” was added to make a full length feature film. This movie was MGM’s biggest money maker of the year. This series of 12 caches remembers many of the actors from the film.
Major Reisman was played by Lee Marvin. The part was originally offered to John Wayne, he turned it down. Lee Marvin was a Marine during WW-II. When Lee Marvin died, he was buried at Arlington National Cemetery, very near Pappy Boyington and Joe Louis.
If you have to go from Mt. Pleasant to Talco or vise versa, why not take the back road and pick up a few smileys. All of the caches are along Greenhill Road.
You are looking for a decon container. You will need to bring a pen to sign the log.
