This cache is placed at the junction of Stage Road, which originates at the Castle Rock entrance, and Dusty Road, which connects Stage Road and Wall Point Road.
The nearest trailhead is the Macedo Ranch trailhead, at the north end of Green Valley Road in Alamo, CA. There is an entrance fee if you do not have a California State Park annual pass. Alternatively, you can hike to this one from the China Wall Trail, which starts near the Stonegate entrance on Livorna Road. A third possibility is from the Castle Rock Park entrance.
