The "Karlschütt" is a beautiful Canyon where you can really get
back to nature!
You can park near the Hl.Johannes Cache and from here
follow the path that takes you through the wood where you can find
the "Frauenschuh" (Lady's Slipper)if you are lucky!!
It is one of the most beatiful, stunning and rarest alpine
orchids that can bee seen! It can only be found either here or in
the Jassing by Tragoß.
The best time to see it is around the middle to the end of
May.
After passing through the wood you carry along the canyon where
you can also visit the Karli-Canyon Cache and carry on
upto the waterfall!
This a wonderfull special place where you can relax and just
listen to the sound of the water!
The Cache is hidden just to the right and up above the waterfall
but is not difficult to get to.
This is the view looking down from near to GZ.
From here you can also carry on to Sunny Canyon 2 or right the way up
to the Karlhochkogel
however the climbing through the canyon is a bit more difficult,
but is also an adventure!
You can visit this place any time of the year, each season shows
you another side of this magical place.
