Der Cache
Der Cache befindet sich bei der Felswand östlich des Wasserkraftwerkes Riedlhammer. Die Hauptschwierigkeit besteht darin, die richtige Höhe und einen geeigneten Weg zum Cache zu finden. Um zum Cache zu gelangen, sind keine waghalsigen Klettermanöver nötig. Dennoch sind gutes Schuhwerk, Trittsicherheit und gelegentlicher Handeinsatz vonnöten!
Der Cachebehälter hat ein Volumen von 1.2 Liter und folgenden Originalinhalt:
- Logbuch, Bleistift, Spitzer, Information für Zufallsfinder
- 2 Geocoins
- kleines Buch, Heftklammern, Drache, kleines Spielzeugauto
Riedlhammer - Geschichte
Das Kraftwerk Riedlhammer befindet sich unmittelbar nach der Mündung des Stampfenbaches in die Waldaist. Ursprünglich als Huf- und Waffenschmiede der Ritter von Prandegg erbaut, wurden vom 16. bis 19. Jahrhundert hier Sensen geschmiedet. Das Kraftwerk besteht seit 1912.

The cache
The cache is placed at a rock face near the hydro-electric power plant Riedlhammer. The main difficulty is to find out the right height and to find an appropriate way to the cache. In order to get to the cache, it isn’t necessary to do daring climbing manoeuvres. Nevertheless it is necessary to use good footware and to be sure-footed. Sometimes you have to use your hands!
The cache container has a volume of 1.2 liters. Original cache contains:
- logbook, pencil, sharpener, information for random finders
- 2 geocoins
- small book, staples, dragon, small toy car
Riedlhammer - History
The power plant Riedlhammer is placed immediately after the mouth of the stream Stampfenbach into the river Waldaist. Originally, it was built as blacksmith’s workshop and armoury of the knights of Prandegg. From the 16th to the 19th century, scythes were forged here. The power plant was built in 1912.
