Geocache Description:

Cache is a medium clip and lock tub. Caches are all just off the main public right of way paths.

Route is now starting to get steeper. Cache is just off main path at a junction were you can go and visit some community woods that have amazing wooden xylophones. Go and visit these if you want a diversion.

Some of the staff at Great Glen House do a monthly hilltop challenge during their lunch break. This is a timed event that you can either run or walk....I recommend walking!!

Route starts at the GGH car park then follows part of the Great Glen Way up the hill, then circles round to the very top and circles back down the other side.
Once you come out of the woods at the bottom, instead of aiming for the road, why not do the Dunain Hill caches. If you have already done them, just walk back down the road to the GGH car park.

If a fast walker without stopping, should take just over an hour. For a geocacher doing the full walk, all in it will probably take 1.5 hours but take a wee bit longer and enjoy some of the views.

I've opted to do this as a series of caches rather than a multi, so that you don't feel obliged to do them all.

ROUTE
Start off from the GGH car park (WP1)and cross main road and go left. Look for the GREAT GLEN WAY SIGNS. Go towards NHS buildings and path is at back (W1). Signs are usually light blue with a black thistle. You will be following these for most of the route.
