I have two TBs which have been in my possession for over a month (I have only found nanos and micros recently). By having a 'Travel Bug Party' I hope to be able to send them on their way with a new cacher. I also have some new TBs of my own that are eager to set off on an adventure.
This will also be a great opportunity for cachers in the North Kirklees area (and beyond) to put faces to those names they regularly see in logs.
The 'Travel Bug Party' will be in my regular drinking hole - Westborough Ratepayers WMC from 7:00pm. Wide selection of beers and lagers. Sorry no food other than the usual nuts, crisps and scratchings. Kids allowed in until 10:00pm. Last orders 11:00pm
It isn't compulsory to bring a TB with you but if you are able to move one to a new home please do so. If you are going away in the near future please state in your note as there may be TBs with particular goals.
For those using public transport service 282 from Dewsbury stops just above the church on Birkdale Road/Green Lane (about 1 min walk) or a taxi from Dewsbury Bus or Rail Stations is about £3.
