The Lake Waco Murder Mystery
In the 1930s, Detective Thoroughgood got a phonecall. "There's been a murder! They found the body around the lake!"
Befuddled and out of sorts, our Detective ran to the site where he was told the body was, but there was no body. The rest of the force was just as confused as he was, and after a night of searching, they gave up. The next morning, Detective Thoroughgood had a note slipped under his door by someone who obviously had a good connection with the crime for some crazy reason, who knows why. The clues told him where the original murder took place before the dump, what weapon was used, what year it was (our good detective doesn't keep track of things like that), and who could have done such a rotten thing. He found his clues and solved his riddles, then made his way back across the lake and found the body lying around some rocks. The body is gone now, and only an ammo can resides. Can you find the clues and the final location as Detective Thoroughgood did so long ago?
Obviously, the posted coordinates are fakes. To solve this puzzle, you must first complete "Lake Waco Murder Mystery - The Clues" multi-cache (GC2WZ0K) located near the marina. After you're done with that, take your evidence found and choose the correct clue out of each category. You can try to do this one without completing the multi, but you will likely be walking a lot unless you get really lucky. The clues are part of the fun and experience, though. :)
