This started out as an 1 year anniversary cache, then a 1500 finds cache. Now I'll just be happy to finally get it listed! I made almost every mistake in the book trying to get it posted. Maybe I should've actually read ALL the guidelines more closely. Ahh ... live and learn.
This small park appears to be something of a canoe "wayside". Some might call it a launch, but considering the lack of ready parking on the street and the steep winding trail down to the water, it may be a bit of a challenge to launch a craft from here. Also, I wouldn't travel much farther down the river under the bridge as the ride down the falls may add a bit of unwanted excitement. Nearest parking can be found street side to the south near Edgewater ... or by boat, of course. Why not come down by the river to set a spell. The bench is very impressive.
Please be careful when replacing this one. Replace carefully and exactly as found.
