Geocache Description:

The cache is a small camoflaged container with Log book and pencils. Easily obtainable, terrain is grassy and flat. A quiet place nestled in a pine plantation on a quiet road. But beware, golf balls aren't too far away!

This cache is a tribute to the Roman Catholic pioneers of Minto Township. The land was donated by Jeremiah Burke and John Page. Mr Page taught school in the log church built on site in 1865 and has long disappeared. A sad note is that the first burial to take place at this cemetery was a 4 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Page. A lasting silent monument to the pioneers of the Catholic faith in Minto.
