Wis Kid: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Geocache Description:

Bernie's Beach is a nice little park on the Southern shore of Monona Bay, with a fantastic view of the Madison skyline. It is named after Bernie Holtman, who operated Bernie's Grocery near the park from 1945 to 1980. The store was a favorite neighborhood gathering spot, with kids stopping there on their way to the beach. Please bring your own pen to sign the log.
