2011 är det 300 år sedan böldpesten härjade som mest i Blekinge. Åren 1710-1711 dog 1761 personer i dåvarande Jämshögs socken. I Blekinge dog ca 15000. Vissa socknar mer än halverades.

Runt om i Blekinge finns särskilda pestgravplatser med resta stenar som minner om denna hemska tid.

Cachen ligger inte på begravningsplatsen.

Denna cach ingår i en serie om Pesten i Blekinge 300år. Om någon vill lägga ut en egen i serien går det bra.

2011 is 300 years since the bubonic plague ravaged most of Blekinge. About 15000 people in Blekinge died in the years 1710-1711.

Around the Blekinge special plague burial sites with standing stones that remind us of this terrible time.

The cache is not at the cemetery.
