Parking in either the ball field parking lot, or street parking in the neighborhood to the west of the park. Terrain may be muddy/slippery if there has been rain. There is some overgrowth, but the neighborhood kids seem to have a few paths well beaten into the area. Cache is a well camoed water tight container. FTF Prize? My deepest respect.
In finding a place for this cache, we basically looked for a bare spot on the map. When CharlieKilian and I visited the park for the first time, we were surprised that a cache hadn't already made its way here. The idea for this hide came to us immediately, but it took a while to pin down the necessary pieces. Serendipity, a trip to Kansas, and a trip to Colorado helped it all come together. Thanks to my Dad (and fellow cacher) Fredri for assisting in the build. Cache contains a small pen and a log book. There may be room for a few small items.
