Geocache Description:

The purpose for placing this cache is to try and get more fishermen involved in geocaching and to bring more geocahcers to one of my favorite fishing lakes.
This is a multi-stage cache. The first three stages involve preparation for a typical fishing trip. You will understand more as you find each stage. The first three stages you are looking for a container that is tubular and about 4.5 inches long and 1 inch wide. Each should have instructions for the next stage and a pen or pencil to take any notes you may need. You may want to bring your own pen to write down instructions just in case.
The final stage is a larger more traditional sized cache containing log book, pen/pencil, and tradables. Tradable items include fishing lures (please take one and leave one) to encourage trade. A unique item in this cache is a small photo album. The first picture is of me (globetrotting medic) with one of my favorite catches from Lake Fork. Please bring a picture of you and your catch to add to the album for all to enjoy.
Please place each stage back just like you found it. Please take and post pictures, but please none of the actual cache or hiding spot. Keep it real for everyone.
Make sure you know how to enter coordinates into your GPS/phone. This is essential for finding it.
There is a short drive between each stage. Don’t let this deter you from seeking this cache…..it will be worth the effort.
I hope you enjoy the hunt as much as I have enjoyed the hide. Thanks to flyingsquirrelman for his assistance with this cache.
As always remember cache in trash out. Now let’s go fishing.
Special prize available for FTF. I’ll let that remain a surprise.
Potential spoilers in hints.

Side note: When it is cold outside, it can be tough to get the tops off of the stage 1-3 containers. If you let the containers warm up a bit first then it is easier (I sat in my warm truck for a few minutes to allow for this).

On 2/5/2015 I edited the difficulty and terrain levels for the following reasons;
It was originally a 2.5/3 which pretty much applied to all stages. That rating can still apply to stage 1-3. I have increased the overall difficulty rating due to the fact that in my opinion anybody who is willing to go after a 4 stage multi that takes the time this one does to complete should get ultimate credit. I also changed the terrain to a 5 since so much has changed around stage 4 GZ since I originally placed it. It takes a little more geosense and "work".

Do be cautious of the summertime hazards. I fortunately have never encountered a snake out here, but the conditions are right. The biggest hazard I have come across is the red wasps nearby. the main place they hang out are in the sign post near where some folks have entered the area. They seem to be overly agressive (I was stung by one in October 2014 and I was giving plenty of perimeter.) (You might want to bring a can of wasp spray) There is a secondary way around if you look closely and that might help you avoid the "nasty critters".

Congrats to Snow Friends on the FTF. Hope you enjoyed the find. Please move the TB along.
