Cache is located a short walk to the side of a country road. You do not need to cross onto private property.
Lock 'n' Lock box covered in camo tape.
The "Steam Wagon Road" passed through this area a short distance to the north. It was also known as the "Nebraska City to Fort Kearney Cut-Off", a heavily traveled section of the Oregon trail in the mid to late 1800's.
We had fun learning about this local history and creating this cache to honor those long ago hearty souls. We started the cache with thematic pioneer looking figurines for trade items.
