The lesser known huts Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to recent logs I am archiving it.

The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported. Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center.

Geocache Description:

A step over is probably required unless you have Mr Tickle arms. Lock clip box. I wanted this to be a bit of a challange so was like 'spider hen, spider hen does whatever a spider hen does' climbing to find a suitable location along the headland. In the end my conscience couldn't take someone breaking their necks to get my cache so I opted for a much nicer easier option!

Everyone has made a big fuss (and rightly so) of the Twr Mawr hut circles. This settlement was in the field East of GZ and you can probably see cows grazing in the field in which they are located. This hut settlement and burial complex are called Cytiau'r Gwyddelod ('huts of the Irish'). Most of the settlements are known as this in Welsh so there is no original name for these actual ones. The field has a fresh water stream running through it. You can see the outlines of the huts easily in the field.

Well Done GH3 for the FTF - I didn't do the Badger though!!
