Loads to see and enjoy in this beautiful area of Gisborne...Stroll
around the river bank and enjoy the lovely surroundings of the
nearby Lawson Field Theatre, one of two theatres in Gisborne, with
its lovely rose gardens and the Evolution archery sculpture which
commemorates the Bejing Olympic games.
Come at the right time and take in a show as well. Close enough
to town to buy lunch and enjoy it here under the trees, or pack a
picnic.
See the wakas launch or bring a canoe and launch it here for a
paddle on the river
Perhaps take an afternoon and make a river walk from the nearby
museum all the way to the beach and find all the caches along the
way. (6 at least
) - Star of Canada GC2G7YG and Bridge Pillar
GC1R48C are nearest.
Now for the
cache..
The cache is not at the listed coordinates - find something at
the coordinates, solve a small puzzle to find the final coordinates
and then search further.
Please extract cache carefully from it's hiding place and take
care to re-hide it very well and exactly where it is placed as this
is a very high muggle area.
Please read all instructions in cache carefully
Be aware of muggles who might see you from across the
river and in buildings, as well as those closer to you.
The cache is a 1 liter clip-it container that is well
camophlaged, and contains (when placed) a log, pen, various swaps
and a trackable.
