Head to the posted coordinates by taking a short hike up Matautu
Ridge to BLUNT'S POINT BATTERY... once you hit the water tower walk
around it to the stairway going up... you will then come to Blunt's
Point.
Go to the above coordinates to locate the Historical Marker.
Read about BLUNT'S POINT then take about 25 steps behind the marker
towards the next trail in search of the cache. (view HINT) There is
a log book and some trade items so please bring a pen. Please
return everything back as found.
If you wish you may take the trail ahead to another canon on the
mountain but it isn’t as nice as the first one.
BLUNT'S POINT is accessible from Sunrise to Sunset. (No night
time access) My family has a home near by and will help with cache
maintence. Please report any issues if needed.
