loookin4u: After much thought and consternation, I have decided to relinquish my my past and this cache location. It is a nice location , but I am through with trying to keep up with the parks ever changing planting changes or lack thereof. The site requires to much maintenance too often.

Geocache Description:

A walk in the park.

When I was little, and my dad would come home from work, he would bring us to this park to play some catch or shag some flies.
I never really appreciated it much until I became a father. When I would get home from work and, tired or not, I would take my kids to the park. That is when I realized what a great dad my dad had been.
Throughout my teen years I was involved in Boy Scouting, and I still am.
We used to meet across the street at what was then the PB Womens club.
Before our meetings we would usually come over here and play some softball.
If you have time, stay awhile and enjoy the park and your own memories.
