A matchstick container with log (no pencil) a little ways off The Air Line Trail.
The Airline Trail is a Connecticut Greenway, State Linear Park and Multi-purpose Trail. The cache is off of a more recent finished section of trail. Across the street, by the Cranberry Bog, there is a well-established portion with numerous caches. There are a couple picnic tables near the Bog.
I placed this cache to encourage people to come to the other side. After this cache was placed the trail was extended to the center of town.
The trail is packed gravel and is accessible by strollers and bikes, but you will have to leave the trail, hop a stream and walk up a small hill to get to the cache, so young children are not recommended.
You should be able to see a small trail across the stream that will lead you back east up the hill. There is no need to wander too far from the Airline Trail as the woods becomes private property nearby.
