Geocache Description:

The second part of Baddesley Ramble

These are the settling pits for the old mine, now overgrown and basically marsh.

If you look up and into the trees south of you, there are underground ice houses, which are sadly on private ground. These were used to store the cold items for merevale and baxterley halls.
