Airfield instructions
ICAO EKEL N 55.45.26 E 010.15.5 Endelave West. RWY 11/29 grass 650
x 25 meter. Elevation 16 ft / 6 m. VFR Day only. Beware of the road
when landing on 29.
Avoid overflying the town and the nearby Nature Reserve with
breading seals. Taxiing in the runway safety zones prohibited, due
to grain. No fuel.

Endelave flyveplads er en af vores personlige favoriter på de små
danske øer. Den legendariske danske flyver Jens Toft har her skabt
en velplejet landingsbane og faciliter, som indeholder camping for
flyvergæster, køkken, toilet, cykler og meget andet.
Vi elsker at cykle op til "Øvre", som er 150 ha fredet natur på
Endelaves nordspids. Undervejs paserer vi Endelave By med kro,
lægeurtehave og købmand. Fra byen går færgen til Snaptun og
Horsens. På varme dage spiser vi Hansen Is og når det er koldt får
vi lækker kaffe og chokolade hos Vin-cents.
Nabogården til flyvepladsen leverer Danmarks uden tvivl bedste
økologiske kartofler og andre friske grøntsager.

Endelave airfield is one of our personal favorites on the small
Danish islands. The legendary Danish pilot Jens Toft has created a
neat runway and facilities, which includes camping for the pilots
and crews, kitchen, toilets, bicycles and much more.
We love to bike-ride up to the "Øvre" at the northern point of
Endelave, which is 150 ha nature reserve. Along the way we pass
Endelave town with inn, medical herb garden and grocery store. A
ferry goes from the town to Jutland.
On hot days, we eat Hansen Ice cream and when it's cold we get
delicious coffee and chocolate from VIn-Cents.
Neighbouring farm to the airfield supplies Denmark's without any
doubt best organic potatoes and other fresh vegetables.
