You are looking for ½ litre box covered by a few leaves. This is in a series of caches. You may see some walkers and dogs but otherwise a quiet location.
This is one in a set of Muppet themed caches placed around the Frodsham area. I have aimed them at children so watch out as the hints are quite easy. My two daughters love finding ‘treasure’ / swops in caches so all of them contain items. The first 4 Muppets are all placed near play areas to inspire little people to walk to them. Muppet 5 and 6 are placed near to each other at a place families often visit. Muppet 7 is a travel bug hotel a bit further away. Muppets 8-12 are a short almost circular walk through woodland and quiet roads. You can head for Muppet 8 after this one and then follow up to 12.
The cache is located quite close to the end of the footpath so this could be a quick grab. If you fancy a bit of a walk, continue to take the footpath marked for the pond trail, stay on this public footpath as it makes it's way through three small fields, full of crops for children to identify. Keep looking back as there are some interesting views including a viaduct. You will then meet another bridle path, turn left here. As you go past the top of the nearby residential road you will pass the allotments so you can guess the vegetables, a bit further on your left are some friendly ponies then there is a small hidden park on the right.
Hob Haye Cache is also local so look out for it when you get to the park.
