Geocache Description:

A walk of about 9 miles from Clare to Cavendish and back, stradling the counties of Essex and Suffolk. The coordinates for the Church Micros of both Clare and Cavendish can be obtained from the log books of the caches along the route.

I recommend downloading and printing off this map before you venture out.

Please take suitable footwear and plenty of fluids. Depending on your walking speed, the series is probably best attempted in the summer months.
Both Clare and Cavendish are very picturesque and the route will also take you along parts of the old Cambridge-Sudbury railway line; by the River Stour's banks; and through Clare Castle Country Park.
It's called the secret series because this is an area that is little visited but it really should attract more people as it's a beautiful part of the country.

Once you have this cache, carry on past the school to the entrance of the Churchyard.
