Geocache Description:

Tirion’s Trail is a series of three traditional caches(Paws 1, Paws 2 and Paws 3) with clues to reach a Mystery Cache. They are placed on the trail of my favourite walk with my new owner Lokilass. My name is Tirion and I am a retriever-cross recently introduced to Geocaching by Lokilass and her friend Revengeofthekif. I helped to sniff out some great cache sites and I hope you enjoy this walk as much as I do. You never know, you might just bump into me while you’re looking for my caches!!

The circuit is a short trail that should take approximately 45 minutes wandering through some peaceful Hampshire countryside yet just minutes away from the City of Winchester.
On-road parking is available close to the start of the trail; however, it is close to a primary school so it can be tricky to park during pick-up and drop-off times.
The trail follows footpaths, tracks and byways. There is one low stile to cross (I love tangling my lead in that!) as well as one kissing-gate to navigate. In one or two places in the summer the undergrowth is thick and close to the path so trousers are advisable. There are some lovely views along the way. Rabbits often bounce along close to your path (I’m not allowed to chase them though!!) You will meet plenty of other dog-walkers and joggers so watch out for muggles or even me! All the caches should be easy to find, but please bring your own pen as the caches are small “lock-and-lock” boxes. Along with the log-book, I have left some small child-friendly gifts in each of the caches for swaps. There should be just enough room to leave small trackables.
Inside the cache-lid of Paws 1, 2 & 3 you will find clues to the location of a Mystery Cache called Paws 4 (a rest).

Please re-hide each cache carefully! Thanks.
