I hope you enjoy this historic and natural venture through the delightful village of Kangaroo Valley. The points of interest and locations were taken from the Kangaroo Valley Explorer Walking Tour, which is well worth doing in it's entirety. Edit: Since placing this cache the building has changed from general store/ Best Pies in Australia shop to a private residence. So I have replaced the cache across the road, but the history of the location is still interesting. Surely Australia's finest example of a very general store from times gone by - and "the best pies in the world"- although this is a subject debated! Personally, my preference is...well, doesn't matter! You have to try one to decide! The store originally serviced the separate settlement of Barrengarry as a Post Office and store from 1874.
