Geocache Description:

L'enceinte celtique dite du Camp d'Attila est un oppidum, une fortification gauloise bâtie au premier siècle avant J.C. par les Catalaunes.
C'est aujourd'hui un des plus grands oppidums d'Europe.
En passant par le village de La Cheppe et la voie romaine, garez-vous sur l'aire pour camping-cars en N 49°02.925' E 004'29.556'.

Entrez dans l'oppidum et découvrez son histoire grâce aux panneaux mis en place sur le parcours. Découvrez aussi la faune et la flore qui font vivre le lieu tout au fil des saisons.
Et en cours de route, cherchez donc cette petite cache...
La boîte contient un logbook et un stylo.

The Celtic surrounding walls told "Attila's camp" are a gallic fortification built around two thousand years ago. Today, they are one of the biggest surrounding walls over Europe.
Arriving by the ancient Roman road and the village of La Cheppe, you can easily park on the motor-home area.
N 49°02.925' E 004'29.556'.

Enter the fortification and discover its history thanks to the notice boards all along the way. Meet the fauna and the flora who set that place alive during the four seasons.
And try to find that little cache...
The box holds a logbook and a pencil.
Please hide it correctly after your visit!
