I really love camping at Cowichan Bay and noticed there are hardly any caches on the North Shore Road
on the Youbou side.
So, I thought that why not plant one.
There is safe parking at the entrance to Pine Point Provincial Park or can be done while camping there.
Easy access to the many trails.
If you are lucky you may catch a glimpse of elk that frequent the area above the cache site.
The cache is hidden in an area that seems to be a Maple Tree Grove.
The main trail leads to an old abondoned road, this used to be the road access into the north side of the lake many, many years ago.
Enjoy yourself at one of my favorite camping areas should you be camping there.
