Horseshoe Bay is a small beach between Sandspit and Brick Bay
Horseshoe Bay can be reached from Sandspit or Brick Bay at lowish tide by following the rocks, picnic table lets you know you are there. There are also paths through the bush from Puriri Place on top of the hill and from the caravan park. Our favourite route is to park at Brick Bay walk round on the rocks have a picnic at Horseshoe and a chat with the fantails then walk up to Puriri place turn left at the top then back down to Brick Bay on the footpath. Have replaced the old cache today (8/10/19) so hopefully you can find it again. Gone to a micro now so only a pencil and a sheet, no room for treasure.
