Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates, but it is nearby. This page has all the basic info you need, but you’ll likely need to get additional info from what is present here.

I’ve cached in Cambridge, Massachusetts multiple times and found myself there again a few months ago. Whenever I go somewhere, I try to do at least one cache in the area, but this gets tricky when you visit a location a lot and it mainly has puzzle caches. What to do? Ask for help from your caching friends, of course! DinaWorks came to the rescue a few months ago (as did Tzinny) and I promised back then to put out a similar cache in the Chicagoland area in their honor. So here is some background about the tale of this cache.

I decided that Dr. Moro’s The Tale would be the puzzle I’d tackle. One reason is that I actually know Dr. Moro thanks to previous caching adventures in the area. I was completely stumped so I had to get in touch with Junji (aka Dr. Moro). Fortunately, we live in the 21st century not the 11th so communication was swift and he gave me some info to get me started. It wasn’t quite enough for me though, but fortunately it was for DinaWorks. Woohoo! Later that day I made my way to GZ. There were no orange blossoms or jewel garland there, but I did find the cache, and that’s what mattered.

So now I’m putting out this cache with thanks to DinaWorks and also Tzinny and Dr. Moro. Recognizing that not everybody has puzzle-ninja powers, I have included a bit more information here for people to go on. Enjoy!

PS. Difficulty rating refers to the puzzle, not the final cache hide. That would be more like a 1.5.
